What are you currently reading?

I’m actually reading two different books right now! I always try to read an audiobook & then an eBook/print book!

My current Audiobook is Cryptofauna by Patrick Canning. This is a black humor book that has a feel similar to David Wong’s John Dies at the End & Douglas Adams’ The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy. It’s weird, it’s shocking, and it is keeping me on my toes.

My current eBook is an ARC of The Aussie Next Door by Stefanie London. It’s a cute romance that features a hero who is on the autism spectrum and a woman whose visa is about to expire. I love the zany nature of the book.

What did you recently finish reading?

The last book that I finished was an ARC of the Escape Manual for Introverts by Katie Vaz! I liked how the excuses ranged from practical to absurd, and I honestly hope none of my family or friends read it simply because they might realize some of the explanations I use to escape family functions & parties. 

What do you think you’ll read next?

So… last week I ended up picking up different books, so I’m going to go with what I said last week. My next read is most likely going to be The Necromancer’s Prison by Alec Whitesell & Craig Bonacorsi followed by an ARC of The Unfettered Child by Michael C. Sahd. I’m hoping to add in some audiobooks as well. I’m currently eyeing Beyond Pain by Kit Rocha & Behave by Andromeda Romano-Lax. I actually got an ARC of Behave when it first came out and dropped the ball on reading it, so I think it is finally time to pick it up!
