It’s Wednesday, and that means it is time for WWW Wednesday! WWW Wednesdays is a weekly tag that is currently being hosted by Taking on a World of Words! Wondering how WWW Wednesday works? Just answer the three Ws!
Those three Ws are:
What are you currently reading?
I’m currently reading The Mythic Dream! It’s an anthology by John Chu, Leah Cypess, Indrapramit Das, Amal El-Mohtar, Jeffrey Ford, Sarah Gailey, Carlos Hernandez, Kat Howard, Stephen Graham Jones, T. Kingfisher, Ann Leckie, Carmen Maria Machado, Arkady Martine, Seanan McGuire, Naomi Novik, Rebecca Roanhorse, Alyssa Wong, & J.Y. Yang! I’m only 20% through it, but from the little bit that I have read, it is fantastic. I love the fact that this book has myths from multiple cultures and the myths that I know are presented in new unique ways. Seanan McGuire’s Hades & Persephone retelling was perfection. I can’t wait to spend more time reading it!
What did you recently finish reading?
I just finished Make Me Bad by R.S. Grey. I learned about this book through Eline’s review over on Lovely Audiobooks! I’m a huge fan of audiobooks, and I’m always on the lookout for a new book. When I read her review, I knew I needed to read it ASAP. I was not disappointed. It was so much fun, and the narrators were AMAZING! I still need to write my review of it, but I definitely recommend it to anyone who loves a good contemporary romance with some fantastic chemistry and witty banter.
Ps. It’s on Kindle Unlimited & in the Audible Escape Package!
What do you think you’ll read next?
Well, I have three more ARCs that I need to have read by 9/3/2019, so it is definitely going to be American Royals by Katharine McGee, The Harp of Kings by Juliet Marillier, or The Nobody People by Bob Proehl. I will admit, The Harp of Kings is calling my name though. I seriously jumped with joy when I was approved on NetGalley. Juliet Marillier is one of my favorite fantasy authors, and I cannot wait to devour this book!
