What are you currently reading?

I’m currently listening to Whispers of Shadow & Flame by L. Penelope. I received an ARC of this book from Netgalley, but I am a week behind on ARCs, so I figured I would buy the audiobook and listen to it. So far, it has caught my attention, and I can’t wait to keep listening

What did you recently finish reading?

I just finished The Orchid Throne by Jeffe Kennedy, and if you haven’t read it yet, I highly recommend it! It was an incredibly unique fantasy, and I can’t wait for the next book in the series. FYI, I would encourage you to read it instead of listening to it. The narrator wasn’t awful, but she wasn’t that good either.

What do you think you’ll read next?

I’m pretty sure the next book I’m going to pick up is the ARC of Christina Lauren’s Twice in a Blue Moon. It looks like the perfect book to read after reading a bunch of fantasies last month. I’m thinking October is going to be full of romances for me. If Twice in a Blue Moon can’t keep my attention, I’m definitely going to switch over to Desperate Measures by Katee Robert. I’m so desperate to read that book that I might just have to ignore my ARC pile to finally read it!
