Congratulations everyone, we survived January 2020! This month was filled with some fantastic and not so fantastic reads. It always seems like the beginning of the year is hit or miss when it comes to reading books. I had quite a few books I was looking forward to that ended up being nothing like I expected. I DNF’d a few books, and I ended up falling in love with some other ones. Ultimately, I’m calling January a successful month even if I DNF’d a few books.
If you haven’t already seen, I created (with the help & encouragement of Leah) #FaeFriday! It’s a weekly blog tag for anyone who wants to join in! Feel free to jump in and frolic every Friday! If you do, make sure to use the hashtag & tag back to me so I can see all of your beautiful posts!
As you all know, the Ravenclaw in me LOVES stats. I love being able to find out how my reading habits change and seeing exactly how they shift and change throughout the year. This year I’m using a spreadsheet that I created. I took elements I loved of my spreadsheet last year and added some more things to it this year. That means that I have a few more statistics and things that I can look at this year!
As always, I appreciate you all. Thank you for reading my posts, leaving encouraging comments, and helping me be a better blogger. You are all amazing, and you keep me going. So without further ado, here are my stats!

As a fellow Ravenclaw, I absolutely love this! I may steal your idea and start tracking my stats as well!
Please feel free! It’s so interesting to see how it changes throughout the year!
All the stats in this post really pleases me! I really need to be more confident to DNF books if I’m not feeling them instead of struggling alone which I seem to do too often!
I used to never DNF books but I realized that it started to make me hate reading. Nowadays I DNF and look at it as self-care.
That’s definitely a good way to look at it!
It really has helped me change how I look at DNFs.
I read Meet Cute this month, too, and absolutely loved it! Such a good book 🙂 I always enjoy your graphics!
It really was a cute book! I’m so glad I finally read it!
Thanks! It’s fun to try new things!
Your January started out great!
It definitely did! I wish I didn’t DNF all those books but I’m happy with how January ended!
I think it’s a good thing you can DNF though. That’s something I still have a hard time with at times.
I view it as self care & that helps!
I love the idea of making stats! Definitely would have fun doing it too. Happy reading in February and I hope you’ll read books you won’t want to DNF 🙂
I love how it all changes throughout the year! I’m definitely looking forward to see how it progresses!
It’s a pity you had 2 DNF’s but onwards to another awesome reading month for February
I know! I was so sad when I DNF’d those 3!
How do you do those tracking thing?? I want them. LOL. I need to read that book by David Levithan. The last book I loved from him was The Lover’s Dictionary, I think.
Great reading month. Congrats! 🙂
I made a spreadsheet that I fill out and I have formulas that give me all of the data! I LOVED The Lover’s Dictionary!
Omg I love the idea of stats! Such a good idea 😍 I had to DNF a book as well this month, hate it when that happens 😭
I hate DNFing but I’ve gotten better now that I view it as self-care instead of failing to read a book.
What! A! Great! Post! It’s easy and fun to read stats!! (The most hilarious part is the DFN one, “hours wasted”…) I really, really enjoyed reading this!
I’m so glad you liked that part! It’s new this year and it’s my favorite. LOL
Such a nice way of keeping track of what you read. Great post!
Thanks! It’s definitely fun to see it all laid out!
This is truly amazing!
Love the stats!
I’ve just begun reading and have wanted to post such a wrap up, but well… Quite nervous seeing people reading so much more than I do!
Don’t be scared! Wrap-ups are some of my favorite posts. It’s fun to see what everyone has read. Don’t judge yourself based on what everyone else is reading. 🙂
Great post, I tagged you here https://mybookworld24.com/2020/02/05/sunshine-award-3/
Thanks! I’ll take a look at it!
