#FaeFriday | 5.29.2020

It’s Friday, which means it’s time for another #FaeFriday! As all of you know, I’m obsessed with faeries but did you know that I also have a particular fondness for shapeshifters? No? Yes? Maybe? Well, imagine my delight when I realized that faeries have been known to shapeshift into animals? Sooo… that means that the prompt this week is:

What is your favorite book that features a shapeshifter?

I seriously hate that I put “favorite” because I honestly don’t know if I could choose one. Back in the day, I was obsessed with shapeshifters, werewolves, and lycanthropes. There were so many books that were published right after Twilight’s massive success that I honestly can’t remember all of the books I read during those years. With that said, I’m going to focus on the series that I devoured last year.

Molly Harper’s Mystic Bayou series is such a fun and refreshing read. The town was absolutely fascinating, and I loved seeing the chemistry between all of the characters. I’ve read the first three books in this series, and each one kept me entertained. I also enjoyed the fact that there were so many different types of shapeshifters in the stories. I have a particular fondness for dragon shifters, which is why I picked up the first book (psst. it’s only $0.99 right now). If you like shapeshifters and lycanthropes, I highly recommend this series!

So now that you know my answer, What is your favorite book that features a shapeshifter?
