It’s Friday, and that means it’s time for another #FaeFriday Prompt! The sun is shining, the trees are thriving, and the flowers are in full bloom. As we all know, many faeries love to commune with nature, so the prompt this week is:

What is a book that takes place in nature that you enjoyed?

Where Andrew Krivak skimped on character development, he made up for it in his vivid portrayal of the surroundings.

The Bear by Andrew Krivak is one of those rare books that takes place solely in nature. It’s almost like this prompt was written for this book (hint, it was). Andrew Krivak truly knows how to add vivid descriptions into his books. I genuinely felt like I was walking alongside the girl. I could almost smell the trees. This book shows both the beautiful tranquil part of the world the brutal, unforgiving part as well. It’s so beautifully done. Want to see my full review? Click here!

So now that you know my answer, What is a book that takes place in nature that you enjoyed?
