It’s Friday!!! That means it’s time for another #FaeFriday prompt! Did you know that in certain lore, a fairy is born from the first laugh of a child? That is why this curious wannabe fae wants to know:

What is a book that made you genuinely laugh?

I have so many books that have made me smile, but not many of them have had me genuinely laughing. There is nothing better than reading something that makes you laugh, which is why I’ve fallen in love with Romantic Comedies. Unfortunately, not all romantic comedies are the same, which is why I have fallen in love with Talia Hibbert’s books. Talia Hibbert has the kind of humor that makes me incredibly happy and can provoke an actual laugh. I’m talking a laugh, not a smile, not a little giggle but a laugh. Yes, I know I cheated because I named an author and not a book, but you definitely need to check out Talia Hibbert’s Get a Life, Chloe Brown & Take a Hint, Dani Brown. These books are amazing, and you need them in your life!

So now that you know my answer, what is a book that made you genuinely laugh?

  1. The Strange Planet and Sweet Valley books are definitely good for a laugh. The last book I can remember making me literally LOL was Jon Stewart’s Earth: the Book. It absolutely reads like an episode of The Daily Show and I love it.
