What are you currently reading?

I just picked up the second book in the Monstrous Matches series by Lillian Lark. I really enjoyed the first one so I figured while I still have Kindle Unlimited I should pick up Deceived by the Gargoyles. So far I’m really enjoying the world. I’m really enjoying the fact that the main character is plus size and that it is doing a pretty decent representation so far. I’m only about 10% into the book so hopefully that doesn’t change.

What did you recently finish reading?

I just finished Stalked by the Kraken by Lillian Lark. It’s the first book of the Monstrous Matches series and I enjoyed it. I was looking for a book to read on Kindle Unlimited and I couldn’t resist this TikTok sensation of a book. The writing was okay, and I wish I got to know the Gideon as a person and not just a Kraken with smoking hot tentacles. All in all, it was a 3 1/2 caffeinated stars read. It was a sweet yet steamy read and I recommend it to anyone who wants to dip their toes into the monster romance scene.

What do you think you’ll read next?

Again, I’m kind of at a loss for what to read next. I’ll probably browse my Kindle Unlimited selection to see what catches my eye. I will say, I keep seeing the ad on Facebook for Rejected by Jaymin Eve and I might have to pick that up next. Do you have any suggestions on Kindle Unlimited books I should check out?
