As you all know by now, I’m one of Harley’s biggest fans when it comes to her erotica. Ever since I read The Dare, I haven’t shut up about how much I love her novellas and shorts. So, when I heard that Her Soul To Take was a full-length novel, my life became complete. I’ve been (very obviously) stuck in a reading rut lately. I haven’t been reading as much, and it’s been taking me AGES to read a book. Imagine my surprise when outside of me being hypercritical in the first chapter (this is the first sign of a reading rut), I couldn’t help but turn the page. Kiss of Vengeance is the second book in the True Immortality series by S. Young. As many of you know, I’m a huge fan of Samantha Young & I thoroughly enjoyed War of Hearts. When I received this book, I was extremely excited to dive into it, but it just wasn’t my favorite. It had many of the elements I love, but at times it fell flat.
This book was a slow burn with an enemy to lover trope feel.

War of Hearts was well written and action-packed. Like all of S. Young’s books, I couldn’t help but love Thea and Conall. Seeing the relationships and chemistry between the characters was enthralling.

I was gifted this book by Nora Roberts herself as a “thank you” for putting together the #CopyPasteCrisList & helping bring all of the plagiarism by Cristiane Serruya to light. Needless to say, when I opened the package I cried tears of excitement and dived into Morrigan’s Cross almost immediately. This is my very first Nora Roberts, and I can guarantee that it won’t be my last.
