Hey Everyone! May is over, which means that it is time to give you a bit of an update on my reading progress! These past few months have been hard on me and incredibly hard on the world. Cal is doing well. He’s as hyper as ever and is acting like he didn’t have major surgery last month.
As you all know, I’ve been pretty quiet here. I truly appreciate you all staying here and reading my posts. I’m hoping that June will reinvigorate me, and I will start to be more active on my blog.
It is finally May, and that means it’s time to update you all. April was one of the hardest months for me, personally. As many of you know, we had a few health scares with my aunts, and Calcifer needed emergency surgery for a blockage. Everyone seems to be doing well, and Cal is currently lying on a mat next to me as I type this. He is still in the critical ten days post-surgery, but with luck, hope, and good vibes, he should make a full recovery.
With COVID-19 happening around the world, my anxiety has been pretty high. Usually, when my anxiety is through the rough, I rely on reading to get me through and escape for a bit. Unfortunately, my stress has been way too high, and I failed to focus on anything, let alone focus my attention on a book. I didn’t get much reading or blogging done in April, but I’m hoping with the start of May, I’ll be able to start reading again.
