Review | Fairies: The Myth, Legends, and Lore by Skye Alexandra

I've had this book borrowed from Kindle Unlimited for a few months, but I never found the time to read it. As you all by now should know, I love Faeries. I've fallen in love with many mythical creatures, but faeries have always had a special place in my heart. Since I started #FaeFriday, I figured it was time to brush up on my faery facts, which is surprisingly nonexistent.

#FaeFriday | 1.24.2020

Guess what day it is??? It’s Friday, and that means it is time for Fae Friday! Fae Friday is my personal creation that wouldn’t have happened without the help of Leah at Leah Books & Cooks! She helped come up with amazing posts and encouraged me that this wasn’t just a silly dream. This week on #FaeFriday, we’re talking about changelings. Faeries were often accused of leaving changelings in place of a child. So this week’s prompt is: What is a book you picked up that wasn’t at all what you thought it would be?

The TBR Book Tag

Danni tagged me over on _ForBooksSake in The TBR Book Tag, and I am honestly a little scared to answer these questions because it will force me to look into the void that I call my TBR. 2020 is all about doing things that scare me, so join me as I stare into the void and try not to drown in the infinite piles of books that stare back. Psst. Give her blog a follow. She's AWESOME!

TTT | Newest Additions to my Bookshelf

It's Tuesday, and that means it's Top Ten Tuesday! Top Ten Tuesday used to be hosted over on The Broke and the Bookish but moved over to That Artsy Reader Girl. As described on The Artsy Reader Girl's blog, "It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together." This description is right up my alley, and I hope you all enjoy this tag as much as I do! Okay, real talk here... I have a book buying problem. This year I've been This week's prompt is The Ten Most Recent Additions to My Bookshelf, and I have to admit, I have a book buying problem.

Review | Into The Woods by James Lapine and Stephen Sondheim

I've owned the play transcription of Into The Woods for about five years now, but I never seemed to find the time to read it. This was one of the three picks I pulled out of my TBR jar for the Clearing The Hoard Bookwyrm Challenge I created. I couldn't pick what book, but this book was mentioned in David Levithan's newest book, 19 Love Songs, so my choice was easy to make.

TTT | 2019 Bookish Discoveries

This week's prompt is bookish discoveries I made in 2019. 2019 was a world full of bookish discoveries. I found so many authors and blogs I honestly don't know quite what to put here. I found so many amazing authors while also adding many to my NTBR list. In 2019 I found my people. I made friends, I lost some friends, and I became more and more comfortable in my own skin. It's hard to make a list or limit it down to only 10 discoveries because my eyes were opened up in 2019.
