It's Friday, and that means it's time for another #FaeFriday Prompt! The sun is shining, the trees are thriving, and the flowers are in full bloom. As we all know, many faeries love to commune with nature, so the prompt this week is: What is a book that takes place in nature that you enjoyed?
Can you believe that February is over? Seriously, it felt like January was a year-long, and #Faebruary was like a day. As you may already know, in January, I started #FaeFriday, and I'm so glad to see that there are participants! It's so much fun to see how everyone interprets the prompts & I love all of the different answers! We also closed out the month with the Whole Latte Books - Book Club, where we discussed Get a Life, Chloe Brown, which is one of my all-time favorite romances! I have to say, it was so fun to talk to everyone about Get a Life, Chloe Brown!
It's been a few days since I finished this book, and I still don't know quite how I feel about it. I picked this up as part of Libro.FM's influencer program, and I was immediately drawn to the cover. Seriously, look at how pretty the cover is. I also enjoy post-apocalyptic reads. I figured I would give this book a chance. I think it's important to state that this book was not character-driven. You never even know the character's name. You only know them as The Girl, The Man, and The Bear. I am such a character-driven reader that this honestly threw me off.
