May 2019 Reading!

It is finally June! That means that I can finally do my May 2019 reading wrap-up. I really love these posts because I love seeing how different each month is. The most exciting part of May is that we didn’t add any books to the #CopyPasteCris list! Maybe that means we found all of the plagiarism! As you may have realized, this monthly wrap-up is coming out 4 days later than usual. That is because I was very fortunate to be able to go to Denver Pop Culture Con! What I love the most about DPCC is that they bring in so many different authors! This year, they even had a small focus on romance authors, so I was definitely in heaven. I took so many pictures and bought so many books! I came home with over 30 new books, and I am still so incredibly exhausted after 3 days of constantly running around a convention center with 30 lbs of books in my backpack.

If you’re here reading this post, I just want to make sure you know how much I appreciate you. I hope that you all are enjoying my recommendations and that you’ll find one of your next favorite books from one of my posts. If you have any thoughts, comments, or questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

As most readers know, our reading habits vary from month to month. I’m doing these monthly wrap-ups because the Ravenclaw in me LOVES all the statistics! I’m currently using the reading log by Book Riot to find all of my stats so if this looks like fun, I highly recommend taking a look at their reading log!

This month, I feel like a slacker because I only read 6 books this month. My May just seemed to fly by so hopefully I will read more books in June!

  1. You had a great month! I really like how you list out all the stats like that in your wrap up. I think that’s really cool – I need to get better at keeping track of how much I read daily/weekly/monthly. I think it would help keep me on track and give me goals to hit. Thanks for the idea!

  2. Congratulations on a productive reading month! I think the amount of pages you average on a day is such a good, reasonable goal. I should aim for that!

  3. I love how you list all the different genres you’ve read. I’ve done that in the past (to the point where I realized I was skewing about 65% nonfiction at the time!), and have been thinking about doing this again, so thanks for the inspiration! Happy reading in June! 🙂
