Top Ten Tuesday – My Summer TBR

I’ve always loved reading everyone’s Top Ten Tuesdays, so I figured I would jump in and start doing some when the prompt calls to me. This week over on That Artsy Reader Girl, the prompt was “Books On My Summer 2019 TBR.” I have such a giant TBR, but I figured I could share with you all the books I’m super excited for!

TTT Summer TBR

  1. Before the Full Moon Rises by M.J. Bell – I bought this book at Denver Pop Culture Con. I couldn’t resist purchasing the series when I knew it was faeries. I sorely lack faery books, so I had to buy it. The premise looks cute and like something that would be fun to share with my nieces!
  2. The Book Charmer by Karen Hawkins – This one releases July 30th, and I am so excited that I got the ARC of this! The cover of this book is what first caught my eye, and the premise is so incredibly alluring that I knew I needed to read it the second I read the description!
  3. Desperate Measures by Katee Robert – Ever since I was a kid, I loved Aladdin. It was my second favorite Disney movie (first depending on my mood), and I cannot wait to see this twisted dark tale of what would happen if Jafar won. I really enjoy Dark Erotica, so I’m excited to see where this book goes!
  4. Fluffy by Julia Kent – I read so many reviews about this book that I had to buy it immediately. Unfortunately, being a blogger, I had ARCs (I know, poor me) that I needed to read. This book sounds hilarious and steamy so I cannot wait to read it!
  5. Hard Target by Pamela Clare – This is a book that I received at Denver Pop Culture Con, and I can’t wait to dive into a local Colorado Author’s books! I haven’t read romantic suspense in a while so I can’t wait to fill my need of hot black-ops men.
  6. Harlow (The Regal Fae Pawn And Loan Series) by Carrie King – I have followed Carrie King on Twitter ever since I started actually using Twitter. Naturally, when she released a book, I had to One-Click it and added it to my TBR. It’s been sitting on my Kindle all lonely & it will have to be read ASAP.
  7. Into the Drowning Deep by Mira Grant – Never even knew this book existed until it went on sale and everyone on Twitter said I needed to own it. I gave into peer pressure and one-clicked it the second I saw it was fantasy, mermaids, with a bit of horror. I typically don’t do horror, but I’m excited to give this a try!
  8. Kill the Farm Boy by Delilah S. Dawson & Kevin Hearne – I’ve always wanted to read this book so when I took a quiz at Del Rey’s booth at Denver Pop Culture Con & handed this book, I knew it was destiny. I can’t wait to dive into this book finally!
  9. The Lucifer Effect: Understanding How Good People Turn Evil by Philip Zimbardo – I’ve always been a fan of Zimbardo, and I’ve had this book on the back burner for quite some time. I figure this summer would be the perfect time to put on my social psychology hat and enjoy learning.
  10. Stan Lee’s Alliances: A Trick of Light – I mean, who doesn’t have this on their TBR? I pre-ordered it from Audible the second I could.
