What are you currently reading?

I’m currently reading Desperate Measures by Katee Robert, and this book is so hot that I’m worried I might melt my kindle. What I love about this book is how it deals with consent. Within the first 3% of the book, a safeword is established. This book is probably going to be one of my favorite books I have read this year.

What did you recently finish reading?

Over the weekend, I finished Twice in a Blue Moon by Christina Lauren. This was my first time reading one of their (writing duo) books, so I was pleasantly surprised by the angst-filled romance! Want a full review? You’re in luck! Click here to read my full review!

I also finished The Burnout Generation by Anne Helen Petersen. The audiobook was really fascinating to listen to various Millennials explain their experiences with burnout. I do wish that there was more of a scientific approach vs. the interviews, though.

What do you think you’ll read next?

I have a couple ARCs that I need to read, so I’m planning on reading The Bromance Book Club by Lyssa Kay Adams next. I also have an ARC for Novice Dragoneer by E.E. Knight, so depending on my mood after Desperate Measures, I might read that one instead.
