WWW Wednesday - Weekly Blog Tag

It’s Wednesday, and that means it is time for WWW Wednesday! WWW Wednesdays is a weekly tag that is currently being hosted by Taking on a World of Words! Wondering how WWW Wednesday works? Just answer the three Ws!

Those three Ws are:

What are you currently reading?

I am currently reading The Truest Thing by Samantha Young. This is the 4th book in the Hart’s Boardwalk series, and I have to admit, I’m struggling with it. I absolutely love the Hart’s Boardwalk series. Yet, I have a strong dislike for Jack (and his entire family), and unfortunately, Jack is the hero in this series. I’m glad that I love Emery because she’s the only reason I’m reading the book.

I also just started To Sleep in a Sea of Stars by Christopher Paolini. I have heard nothing but amazing things about this book, but I have to admit, the size is incredibly intimidating! This audiobook (yes, I got approved for the audiobook from NetGalley! YAY!!) is 32 hours & 30 minutes long. Honestly, I tend to avoid any audiobook that is over 15 hours long, so, wish me luck. I might need it.

What did you recently finish reading?

I just finished One to Watch by Kate Stayman-London, and I LOVED it! I also kind of hated it because it forced me to confront some of my insecurities. This book had beautiful plus-size representation. It was lovely to see my size on the page and not have it be the sarcastic friend that never gets a companion novel. I highly recommend this book for fans of reality tv dating shows. This was a fun read that touched on some untouched subjects.

What do you think you’ll read next?

I have a few books I have my eye on currently, but the one that I can’t wait to read is Written in the Stars by Alexandria Bellefleur. This book looks like it’s going to be right up my alley (fake relationship trope!! Heck yes!). I also haven’t read a romance that features a lesbian couple, so I’m excited to dive into it!

Now that I have answered the three Ws, it’s your turn! Let me know your answers in the comments!

  1. Can’t wait to hear what you thought of Chris Paolini’s book! His books influenced me so much when I was a young teen, and got me into writing given his super cool backstory. Happy WWW Wednesday 🙂

    1. I really enjoyed Eragon but never finished the rest of the series (too much on my plate in high school). I’m definitely enjoying it right now. It’s nothing that I would normally pick up and it’s extremely engaging!

  2. Oooh, that last one sounds delightful! I may have to do a post on the most aww-inspiring contemporary f/f romances. I have a couple on my TBR now. 😊
