WWW Wednesday a weekly blog tag

It’s Wednesday, and that means it is time for WWW Wednesday! WWW Wednesdays is a weekly tag that is currently being hosted by Taking on a World of Words! Wondering how WWW Wednesday works? Just answer the three Ws!

Those three Ws are:

What are you currently reading?

I just started reading Molly Harper’s Shifters in the Night and I’m loving it. The Mystic Bayou series has been a great comfort read for when things get a little too heavy for me. With Calcifer’s emergency surgery, my mind has been running a thousand miles per minute so this book is helping calm my mind and bringing back to characters that I just enjoy.

I am also reading Beneath the Moon by Yoshi Yoshitani. It’s a collection of fairytales and folklore from around the world and I’m loving it. The artwork is gorgeous and it’s so fascinating to read all of the stories. FYI, this book doesn’t contain the Disney Happily Ever Afters, it’s the stories with their original endings and some of the stories will disturb you.

What did you recently finish reading?

I finally finished Sorcerer To the Crown by Zen Cho! This book took me forever to read and I have to say I was unimpressed. This is a classic example of me being the wrong reader for this book. I tend to avoid anything historical so this historical fantasy just wasn’t my thing. The world-building was interesting but I felt like there could have been more to the characters.

What do you think you’ll read next?

I’m having to give up a lot of things to pay for Calcifer’s surgery so I think I’m going to binge read a bunch of Kindle Unlimited stories. The first one I’m probably going to pick up is Masked Desires by Gina L. Maxwell. The cover is gorgeous and I know that I need to read it while I still have Kindle Unlimited.

Psst. This post contains Amazon Affiliate links.

Now that I have answered the three Ws, it’s your turn! Let me know your answers in the comments!

      1. I’m thinking of starting the last book soon. I always struggle to finish a series because then it’s over but I really want to see how the series ends.

      2. I know what you mean. It always sucks when a good series ends. I actually didn’t realize it was the last book when I started it so I was very sad to realize it was the end. I enjoyed it though.

  1. I’m so impressed you can read 2 books at once. I can only handle one at a time and have to write the review up immediately before starting another book or I’ll confused the two.
