Review | Her Soul To Take

Psst. If you're a family member, you should probably skip this review. As you all know by now, I'm one of Harley's biggest fans when it comes to her erotica. Ever since I read The Dare, I haven't shut up about how much I love her novellas and shorts. So, when I heard that Her Soul To Take was a full-length novel, my life became complete. I've been (very obviously) stuck in a reading rut lately. I haven't been reading as much, and it's been taking me AGES to read a book. Imagine my surprise when outside of me being hypercritical in the first chapter (this is the first sign of a reading rut), I couldn't help but turn the page. I devoured this book and could not put this book down. It was that good.

Review | The Roommate

When I saw this book on NetGalley, I knew I needed to read it. Unfortunately, life got in the way, which means I ended up buying the audiobook instead. I tend to buy the audiobook anytime I'm late in the review game. I'm delighted that I bought the audiobook because the narrators were great! Brittany Pressley & Teddy Hamilton brought the book to life. At times, I did wish that the female voices were just a bit different, but other than that, they did a fantastic job. With COVID-19 and a lot of personal issues, I've been filling my life with romance, and this book was exactly what I needed. The Roommate is one of those books that will make you smile. It was well written, humorous, and incredibly spicy. Don't let the cutesy cover fool you. This book packs a lot of steam, and I was here for it.

#FaeFriday | Autumn Vibes

It's Friday, and there is actually a chill to the air here, which is AMAZING!!! I always love fall, which is why the autumn court is still in the spotlight. They're celebrating the season change by gracing us with the beautiful gift that is the changing of the leaves. That is why this week's prompt is: What genre gives off that perfect autumn vibe to you? I'm sure most people will put mystery or horror as their genre, but I'm a bit strange.

Review | The Boyfriend Project

I haven't read a book by Farrah Rochon, so when I saw The Boyfriend Project offered up on NetGalley, I had to jump at the opportunity. Luckily for me, I also received the audiobook from Libro.fm through their influencers program. I've been struggling with reading books so listening to the audiobook was a glorious thing. Je Nie Fleming did a fantastic job narrating this book. I'm so impressed with her narrations that I added her to my favorite narrator's list.

Review | The Truest Thing

Samantha Young has been a staple author for me. I've been reading her books since 2012 when I found her book, On Dublin Street. I've been an avid reader since. The Truest Thing is the 4th book in her Hart's Boardwalk series and features a character that I just couldn't like.
