March 2019 Reading!

Well, March definitely hasn’t slowed down in the Romancelandia twitter-verse. The #CopyPasteCris list has grown to 86 books, 36 authors, 3 articles, 3 websites, & 2 recipes. The RITA awards were announced and then widely criticized through the #RITAsSoWhite hashtag on Twitter. A few authors decided to steal a photographer’s photo for their book cover, and book twitter has been fighting back the pirates. Word to the wise, don’t steal an author’s book. If you can’t afford the book, then please borrow it from the library. When you read a pirated book, you are making it more difficult for that author to write the next one.

Thank you all for staying with me on this small time blog, and I hope that my recommendations and blog posts can help inspire you to find new books or hug a fellow reader (with their consent of course). As you all know, this year I’ve decided to look into the statistics of my reading. My reading habits vary from month to month, so this has been fun to see how much it has changed or stayed the same.

This month, I was able to read 11 books and I DNFd one as well. I had a mixture of novels, novellas, audiobooks, and I even read an actual physical book too. I have to say, I missed holding a real physical book.
