What are you currently reading?
I am currently listening to The Orchid Throne by Jeffe Kennedy. It is really fascinating, but I do wish I liked the narrator more. The narrator isn’t terrible, but I really feel that this book needs to have dual narration. I actually had to look at the book to see that there were two separate points of view when I first started the book.
What did you recently finish reading?
The last book I finished was S. Young’s War of Hearts. Samantha Young is one of my favorite authors, so it was no surprise to me that I loved the book! It’s the perfect book for October, so I highly recommend checking it out!
What do you think you’ll read next?
Once I am done with The Orchid Throne, I will probably pick up the ARC of Whispers of Shadow & Flame by L. Penelope. This book released on the 1st of October but I’ve been so busy reading other fantasies that I haven’t been able to pick it up yet. I enjoyed the first book, so I’m looking forward to seeing where the characters go from here. Both look really great, but The Orchid Throne will probably win out when I finish War of Hearts!

I am curious about War of Hearts. The Orchid of Thrones sounds interesting. Sorry to hear the narration is sub par.

It’s not terrible, but it definitely would be better if they had two narrators instead of just one.
I’ve been debating the advantages of Kindle Unlimited and Prime
I really enjoy both of them. I love that KU has more variety though at times it is a little overwhelming!
