I honestly can’t believe that October is over. As you all know by now, October is one of my favorite months. I absolutely love autumn, and I basically survive off of Pumpkin Spice Lattes from September to November. There is just something wonderful about getting that perfect drink on a crisp fall day. Unfortunately, October was one of those months where my reading was drastically lower than my previous months. I squeezed in a novella and a graphic novel tonight so that I would be too embarrassed by my lack of reading. Though the quantity of books was down this month, the quality was high. I read one of my favorite books this year in October!
As I always say, if you’re reading this, I genuinely appreciate you. Thank you for taking the time to read my blog. I posted a lot of blog posts this month, and I’m just so thankful for every one of you!
As most readers know, our reading habits vary from month to month. I’m doing these monthly wrap-ups because the Ravenclaw in me LOVES all the statistics! I’m currently using the reading log by Book Riot to find all of my stats so if this looks like fun, I highly recommend taking a look at their reading log (though… it’s now not on their website)! So without further ado, here are my stats for October!

Favorite book of the Month: I’m going to have to go with Desperate Measures by Katee Robert. This book is seriously everything you need to read in a BDSM themed novel. It’s one of my favorite reads of the year.

I love how you use stats like this 😊
It is so much fun to see how each month changes!
I’m glad you found that stand out voon even though you didn’t read as much as normal. I hope November is good for you.

Nice , love how you wrote it all down
You are so organised with your stats. You are an organised Ravenclaw and I am a disorganised Hufflepuff. My favourite October read, one of my favourite books of the year, was Marni Mann’s Before You.
Ooo! I will have to check it out!
The Orchid Throne is on my TBR!
I LOVED IT! I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!
I have only one word for you.
Wow!
I’m throwing down a challenge – 10 books in December – I triple dog dare you! 😉
Here’s hoping I can! December is always busy with family obligations but hopefully I’ll find time to read!
Great Wrap Up!
Thanks!
I love the way you and a few others lay these stats out. I’m totally looking to start this in the new year. My only problem is. Do I do it for the books I READ or the books I’m reviewing AND read? For instance, I have 4 more books to read that will get reviews this yr. Then I’ll be moving onto books who’s reviews will be coming out in 2020… What’s your opinion?
I do all of the books I read even if I haven’t reviewed them on the blog. I think it is fun to see how much you stay the same or change during a month. I don’t think it matters if those reviews aren’t up yet, it is just a fun way to show what you read & enjoyed. 🙂
You look like you had a good reading month though even if you didn’t read as many as usual.
Glad you had an enjoyable month! Love your stats.
Thanks!
I love your blogs and all the challenges etc. on them
