#FaeFriday | 9/10/2021

Ummm… Hi, I missed you all. It’s #FaeFriday, and I know I just disappeared for a good while. Life has been challenging, and I had/have a big case of the big sads. So I basically disappeared into TikTok and disassociated that way. I’m hoping to jump on here more and be more consistent. This week’s prompt is: What kind of books covers do you like?

Review | Her Soul To Take

Her Soul to Take by Harley LaRoux

Psst. If you’re a family member, you should probably skip this review.

As you all know by now, I’m one of Harley’s biggest fans when it comes to her erotica. Ever since I read The Dare, I haven’t shut up about how much I love her novellas and shorts. So, when I heard that Her Soul To Take was a full-length novel, my life became complete. I’ve been (very obviously) stuck in a reading rut lately. I haven’t been reading as much, and it’s been taking me AGES to read a book. Imagine my surprise when outside of me being hypercritical in the first chapter (this is the first sign of a reading rut), I couldn’t help but turn the page. I devoured this book and could not put this book down. It was that good.

#FaeFriday | Spring Equinox

It’s #FaeFriday and the Spring Equinox is on the 20th which is why I want to know: What is a book (or some books) you’re looking forward to this spring? As a reader, I have a TBR that is a mile long but there is one book that I am DYING to read and that […]

#FaeFriday | Autumn Vibes

It’s Friday, and there is actually a chill to the air here, which is AMAZING!!! I always love fall, which is why the autumn court is still in the spotlight. They’re celebrating the season change by gracing us with the beautiful gift that is the changing of the leaves. That is why this week’s prompt is: What genre gives off that perfect autumn vibe to you?

I’m sure most people will put mystery or horror as their genre, but I’m a bit strange.

May 2020 | Wrap-Up

Hey Everyone! May is over, which means that it is time to give you a bit of an update on my reading progress! These past few months have been hard on me and incredibly hard on the world. Cal is doing well. He’s as hyper as ever and is acting like he didn’t have major surgery last month.

As you all know, I’ve been pretty quiet here. I truly appreciate you all staying here and reading my posts. I’m hoping that June will reinvigorate me, and I will start to be more active on my blog.

#FaeFriday | 5.22.2020

It’s Friday, which means it’s time for another #FaeFriday! I’m not going to lie, but I totally thought it was Thursday. Luckily, I saw Leah’s post and realized my error! The prompt this week is also one of my favorites! I’m always on the lookout for scorching reads, so I definitely created this prompt for selfish reasons. This week we’re talking about Fire Faeries! Be cautious of these faes, or you might end up with a blister! So without further ado, the prompt is….

March 2020 | Wrap-Up

March is finally over, and most of us are stuck in the house. While you’re stuck in the house, I recommend taking a look at my post, Protecting Your Book Collection, to get yet another project you and your family can do! As many of you know, I took a bit of a hiatus this month. With COVID-19 happening, I just haven’t had the energy to focus on my blog. I ended up buying a Nintendo Switch and have dived into the world of video games as a way to escape the constant barrage of news. I’m thankful I did because I needed a way to turn off my overly anxious brain & reading wasn’t cutting it.

With all that said, I hope you all are healthy and finding ways to occupy yourself. I appreciate you all coming and reading this post and my blog in general. You rock, and you deserve all the good things!

TTT | Characters I would Follow on Social Media

We all love social media, so this prompt was a lot of fun to think about. I have to say it was a tough one for me to answer. I typically follow bookish accounts, so that would mean I would automatically follow and love every single bookish person. I use social media so that I can find new books, talk bookish things, and share my love of all things book related. Though I’m a book nerd and would list every single book lover I have read about, I decided to go with a list of characters that would be more of the outliers on my feed.

TTT | 2019 Bookish Discoveries

This week’s prompt is bookish discoveries I made in 2019. 2019 was a world full of bookish discoveries. I found so many authors and blogs I honestly don’t know quite what to put here. I found so many amazing authors while also adding many to my NTBR list. In 2019 I found my people. I made friends, I lost some friends, and I became more and more comfortable in my own skin. It’s hard to make a list or limit it down to only 10 discoveries because my eyes were opened up in 2019.

Review | The Dare by Harley LaRoux

The chemistry between the characters was what made this book so hot I’m surprised my kindle didn’t catch fire. Everything single moment between Jessica & Manson was scorching. Their connection was everything I could want in an erotica, and honestly, it was believable from a real-life standpoint.
