#FaeFriday | 2.7.2020

It’s Friday and Faebruary, which means it is time to let our inner fae shine and participate in #FaeFriday. The prompt this week is pixie dust! If you’ve seen Peter Pan, you know that pixie dust is used to make you fly. So this week’s question is: What is a book that made your heart soar?

Cover from Goodreads.com

Hands down the book that made my heart soar is Pan by Gina L. Maxwell. As most of you know, I am obsessed with Gina’s Neverland series. It’s the very first book I read of Gina’s, and it’s definitely not going to be the last. I couldn’t help but swoon for Peter & I LOVED Wendy. Everything about that book was perfect. I couldn’t help but love all of the interactions. I loved seeing a grown-up version of Peter, who still carried a childlike optimism and wonder. This book was better than I ever thought possible. Every time I think of this book, I can’t help but smile.

Do you want to learn more about Pan? Take a look at my review! Psst. Hook by Gina L. Maxwell is just as good!

  1. This is such a hard question! So many options… because they’re on my mind this morning, I’d have to say Philip Pullman’s His Dark Materials trilogy and Maggie Stiefvater’s The Raven Cycle.
