WWW Wednesday - Weekly Blog Tag

It’s Wednesday, and that means it is time for WWW Wednesday! WWW Wednesdays is a weekly tag that is currently being hosted by Taking on a World of Words! Wondering how WWW Wednesday works? Just answer the three Ws!

Those three Ws are:

What are you currently reading?

With luck, I should finish Novice Dragoneer by E.E. Knight today. I am really enjoying the book so far though I will admit it’s a little too long for my taste. I tend to stick to shorter novels, so listening to all 16 hours and 14 minutes of it has been daunting. I am definitely feeling the length, so I cannot wait to finally be done with it. At this point, 86% into the book, I think that this is a solid 4 Caffeinated Stars book.

What did you recently finish reading?

Well, This weekend, I have finished Outmatched by Kristen Callihan & Samantha Young. I enjoyed the banter & found the premise to be fun. I’m a massive fan of the enemies-to-lovers trope, so I knew that it would be a hit. Take a look at my review to see exactly what I thought!

I also finished  The Dare by Harley LaRoux, and oh boy was that fun to read. It’s dark and twisted. I have to admit, it was one of my favorite erotica that I have read so far. I’m currently trying to figure out how to write a review without writing “best erotica ever” over and over.

A disappointing read that I also finished this weekend was The Little Book of Big Feelings: An Illustrated Exploration of Life’s Many Emotions by Maureen Marzi Wilson. I desperately wanted to love this book, but it fell flat. I ended up giving it 2 1/2 Caffeinated Stars, and I’m still trying to figure out how to word my review.

What do you think you’ll read next?

I was just accepted as part of Libro.fm’s* influencer’s program, and being an influencer means that I get to choose a couple free audiobooks to read and review. I was so excited to see Get A Life, Chloe Brown, by Talia Hibbert in the list of books I could choose from, so that is definitely my next read! I also have a blog tour stop coming up, so I’ll probably pick up The Devil’s Apprentice by Kenneth B. Andersen soon psst. It’s on Kindle Unlimited if it looks like your kind of book!

*Psst… this is a referral code to Libro.fm. You get a free month to try out Libro.fm, and I’ll get a free audiobook if you continue on with your membership. I have not had the chance to truly play around with Libro.fm’s apps, but it does look like it has an easy to use interface & I LOVE that they support indie bookstores.

Now that I have answered the three Ws, it’s your turn! Let me know your answers in the comments!
